So firstly MSE will add width , facepulling will give you 3-4 mm which is not a lot but mms are miles when it comes to the face here is my proposed alternatives to a lefort

Under eye fatgrafts/fillers to fix hollow eyes + rhino to fix dowardgrown nose/bulbous tip and a 5 aclock shadow/beard for the lower third

he showed scans on the greatwork i am pretty sure MSE + facepulling WILL work BUT it needs consistency and results may vary based on bone plasticity age etc

With MSE it will according to the cited results
Won moon said they've seen up to 3mm in adults, and ting said 1-2mm for adult men

I think the best way is my idea of an mse in the back with an alt ramec protocol to loosen the sutures, and a marpe/mse at the front and pull upwards from the one at the front

You have to realize these are normies facepulling i want you to imagine this with chewing + hardmewing the maxilla we can get more thumb pulling etc when the sutures all of will have an effect

Normies arent facepulling. 3mm has been the max with 1kg each side so 2kg. The only possibility for more is with alt ramec

Can you link it?

cant find the article again but maybe if you scour a bit you could come across it. theres a lot of old forum posts from years ago talking abt it too, could find some more info there.

Just get an anterior open bite theory

Wouldn't happen. anyway, you could attach bands to both appliances, but use more force for the frontal one. Therefore the maxilla rotates, moving up both at back and front, but more at front

Besides, even if you do, once you have shortened your midface, you can do this surgery to fix your open bite:

boom, shorter midface

why not just modified lefort 3

That's not modified LF3. This was confirmed awhile ago to be a modified high cut LF1. Look at her side profile, the orbital region was not touched, just the higher set LF1 region ending at the paranasal region was moved forward.

Bro is this the girl you were talking about the other day?

Pulling sideways and forward doesn’t stop down. You are gonna look like a baboon probably if you don’t mew too

The paranasal region moved forward though

so you are saying we should combine this with MSE?
Yes. It loosens the other sutures. One study in kids showed over 2mm more protraction than without it.

It's unstudied in adults, but here's what won moon had to say

it is 100% a combination of a modified lefort 3 (her orbitals are moved) and regular lefort 1 inclusive bimax. theres a lot of forum posts on jsf/lookism abt it, but i cant find the original paper from obwegeser again unfortunately.

No, it was another blonde girl though. Similar case but the one I was talking about was confirmed to be a high LF1. I still fail to see the orbital movement in this one.
