Legit post. I came to this realization in my late 20s. Even most jobs you will go into unless they're top finance jobs where there are clear paths to reach high-earning positions most of it is a waste of time. The place I work at the moment I have to travel in for an hour and work my ass off for 8.5 hours and then another hour home all for a woeful wage of £1900 per month. Its funny because the managers who tell me what to do are on £2600 per month. Even if you worked your ass off is 2600 per month a motivating goal? NO!

The truth is unless you were bought into old money whose family business has been making money for decades or you have rich connections you're fucked. I thought about this for months on end and nothing comes to my head because I am simply too low IQ like the rest of the population. We will all remain in this endless loop of working 40 hours a week( if you're lucky), spunking money on alcohol at bars on the weekend to drown out the horrible week we've had, and then dread about doing it all over again on a Monday.

Most of the time making money is complete luck with a good idea at the right time, a mix of top-tier IQ levels depending on what sector you go into and hard work. I made about 10k off of youtube back in the day (2011) when you didn't need a certain amount of subscribers to monetize videos, I just made tons of clickbait videos and got shit tons of views but my account was banned after a while. At the moment I am day trading and progressing well however I lack the capital to quit my job.

Id say I am the perfect example of becoming a success after unluckily dropping to the lowest possible level of success possible. However your definition of success suffers from my definition and everyone elses definition.

I don't have any bank or fiat currency on my person. I have no digital illusions of wealth other than a life insurance policy. I don't bang 10 women a day and in fact I have yet to sleep with one for 7 years. However, I am wealthier than any Forbes 400 person because I have real wealth and ownership of my assets as I have land patents for all my land and properties, a changes political status so I'm no longer part of the corporation plantation and I am off grid and completely self sufficient. No taxes, no eminent domain, no bills, no debts and in process of learning how to use the governments own documents, processes and regulations to buy any asset I desire from filling these documents as a form of payment. This enables me to not have to use their debt instruments as a form of payment. All my passive income is converted to silver and gold and I never touch the fiat currency.

Another person that I believe became a major success in spite of having a horrible situation was Dr Ben Carson. He was a subhuman in terms of IQ as he was the bottom of his class every year until 5th grade. His nickname was dumb dumb. He ended up changing his study habits going to the library daily, learning from mentors and by 8th grade he got to the top of his class. He eventually became the top neurosurgeon on earth and one of the most famous doctors of our time. His mom was a single black woman, they loved I a poor and high crime area.
