I don’t pray at all and I’m not proud of that. I also listen to music everyday. Unlike most people. I don’t believe music is not allowed. If the lyrics are not about bad things then I don’t see it as a bad thing. The reason music was considered haram is because back then; you had to attend concerts where there were dancing women and also alcoholic drinks being served.

The Ishmaelites (so-called Arabs) never had any “prophets“ come from them because they’re not the chosen nation: the Israelites are.

Your opinion, by the way, is pretty much self-conflicting -- vocals are essentially an instrument as well. Go ask any musician or a music teacher. According to your logic, you shouldn't be listening to any music, even if it has no "instruments" (impossible, since voices are instruments, too).

That's good to know! I mean, if you think about it logically: what's the harm in playing instruments anyway? Does it make one non-religious? Does it stop you from praying? Of course not. When the time of prayer comes around, you can always put the guitar down. No one plays it 24/7. People in the Islamic community tend to take things literally and make Islam way more difficult than it really is. I have a friend who's in the same boat: he felt Islam was difficult to live with because of every salafist he came in touch with. It took him years to unlearn what they taught him. Islam is easy, people just make it difficult for no reason. Just ignore them, do what you want as long as it's not stuff like pre-marital sex, doing drugs, drinking alcohol, murdering, et cetera.
