But that surgery is so unrealistic to me, it means hustling for years, or even decades, and then blowing those savings away on this whilst everyone else goes on vacations or buys a house etc. Secondly it’s painful, very time consumptive and the long term health effects are still unknown. I rather just cope for the rest of my 50 years on earth, as depressing as that is. 99% of people considering the surgery are never getting it.

Can't do much about that tho. I blame it on being fat and a manlet during childhood which is genetic. Eventually, it all comes down to genetics, not only the way you actually look, but more importantly the way you perceive yourself.
Therapy has never helped me, good therapists that actually empathize have been a rarity in my experience at least.
