FOR LONGEVITY, being a little chubbier or filled out is better than being lean.
All lean people become frail when older. Older, thinner people are more likely to die.
Notice how when people get older, they get fatter a lot? And these same people live longer?
Being thin is not healthy. Being too lean isn't healthy. Anything under 15% is already pushing it.
Also, consider energy. Chubby/fat people have way better "clean energy" than thinner ones.
Thin, skinny, extra lean people are either always tired/depleted, or they're too wired/coked out.
Only chubby/fat people have that smooth, clean energy. Not the cracked out/anxious energy.
Every lean guy/skinny guy I see is either super fatigued, tired, slow, or wired/coked out constantly.
Meanwhile, all chubby/fat people I see are BALANCED -- neither too sluggish nor too hyper.
It's a fact -- and against mainstream's advice to get "super thin" -- that slight chub/fat is good.
SOME fat on the body is good. Trying to keep constantly shedding fat/cutting fat is VERY BAD.
Fatty acid oxidation/beta oxidation is bad. Free fatty acids are bad. This is why losing weight can KILL. This is why the process of "getting thinner" is FAR more costly than many realize.
Losing weight has killed numerous obese people, to which presumably staying stable wouldn't have. This means it can be HEALTHIER TO STAY/BECOME FAT THAN TO FORCE THINNESS.
If a fat person dies trying to lose weight, it's logic to assume losing weight WAS BAD FOR THEM.
Consequently, if losing weight CAN KILL, but they're "overweight" & alive, then gaining/being fat isn't necessarily "bad for you." Plenty of older people get heavier, and stay healthy -- & many thin die more often. You can argue this until you're red in the face, but you have to explain why losing weight KILLS or SICKENS/WEAKENS older people -- & why gaining some weight IS NOT INHERENTLY UNHEALTHY. I know for autistic people this may be hard to ring in, but just consider all of the nuances here against the mainstream push that "skinnier/leaner is always good!"
It's simply too reductionist & nuanced to assume being "very lean" is good & "fat is unhealthy." If this were the case EVERYONE would be much healthier losing weight, which isn't true.
You can find many people who live long chubby/fat & loads more thin/lean who die from heart attacks. All marathoners are lean & move a lot, yet they have heart attacks -- more so than lazier, fatter people do. Funny reality -- many lardasses who don't move as much live longer than very thin people who run around/move a lot; those SKINNY+EXERCISING A LOT are more likely TO DIE. Thin people SHOULD be pushing themselves & NOT be dropping dead, but reality is different -- many chubbier/slower people live longer than skinny, gym obsessed, runners, or low bodyfat people/bodybuilders. Basically, skinny != healthy; fatter != unhealthy. It is what it is.
