Being on accutane is literally your best chance to stop using shampoo completely

If you ditch the shampoo on accutane and instead only wash your hair with water you wont have to go through the transition phase as your hair will be dry all the time anyways because of the drying effect of accutane. So when you stop taking accutane and your hair's oil levels go back to normal your scalp will not be dependent on shampoo anymore as it's already used to your hairs natural oils. So you basically won't experience the oilyness/transition phase which could literally take months for many normally.

i was having oil soaked hair before accutane, it's been 2 years since i quit using and still not having oily hair at all. and it's not dry, it's just normal right now
