just hit 185 bench today, was wondering how long it will take for me to get to 225 and also the best way to do it. if anyone has any tips please drop below, thanks.

go on reddit search for bench programm and use one
learn what a sticking point is

usually for strength u do higher volume lower intensity

body weight n height?
 
If youre really serious about getting 2 plates, do the smolov jr bench program. Otherwise just get strong on incline bench, shoulder press, weighted dips/close grip bench. Growing your front delts and triceps = heavier bench

would you say the smolov jr bench program gives good results? ive seen it before but never tried since it seems kinda extreme

I’ve never done it, people have said it gives great results. I think if you run this program, it becomes your main focus and you drop the rest of your upper body workouts. Make sure to take care of your rotator cuffs (warm up properly, use good form.) make sure your sleeping and eating enough
