Where is it actually ideal to have more volume in facial fat pads for aesthetics?

I always hear under-eyes and sometimes chin, but what other areas matter?

Which areas should stay lean because too much volume looks worse?

Experimenting a bit with lipofilling, so curious what zones benefit vs not.

Malar fat pad. Supports the midface, it starts to droop as you get older, which makes your midface flatter. I dunno much about it myself, so DYOR.

Supraorbital and infraorbital. The more fat around your eyes, the more likely you are to have less UEE and less appearance of eyebags.

For example, Chico doesn't have the most prominent browridge, but he appears to have low-set eyebrows from the front: this is because he has low UEE which stems from his ideal fat pad placement.

The areas that have to stay lean are obviously the hyoid region and the buccal region to have an ideally angular and masculine dimorphic lower third.

Hope this helped, mark as solution if it did :Comfy:
