As of rn i’m using tretinoin 0.025% nightly. i am also using la roche posay toleriane double repair moisturizer, but everytime i use it my skin either temporarily get red or very slightly burns. What are better some moisturizer options when using tretinoin 0.025%

How long have u been using tretinoin, ive been using it for a few months and dont really have burns or redness anymore. I had it when i started using it. Watch out when u have a lot of sun exposure without spf, causes very dry spots that take a week to go away.

i’ve been using it since september, but i haven’t been consistent with it until december.

Also you need to use spf otherwise you’ll fry yourself, you should use sunscreen everyday anyway.

You gotta find one which is spf50 isn’t visible when applied correctly and something you would apply everyday.

I sometimes use the roche posay tinted one just to fraud but that’s a bonus.

Also it shouldn’t irritate your skin.

It makes your skin more sensitive to the sun, but it already was even before the tret.

It isn’t catastrophic but you’ll fuck your collagen up sooner, also skin cancer becomes more likely probably.

i prefer cetaphil, its what i use daily but for me it works so yeah.
