Should I switch from adapalene 0.1% to tretinoin 0.025%?

Is it actually worth the extra irritation??

tretinoin 0.025% is stronger in terms of evidence for collagen, texture, and pigmentation because it directly activates retinoic acid receptors. Adapalene 0.1% is more stable and usually causes less irritation, while still being very effective for acne. switching is worth it mainly if your goal is anti aging, skin texture, or pigmentation. If adapalene is already controlling your acne, the difference may not be big enough to justify the extra irritation.
