from 60s and 70s bands nothing will ever compare to The Beatles, Pinkfloyd and Jimi hendrix experience.

But the 90s will always be unmoggable.

IMO the Vinyl era was considered old school, Pre 1978.
Although 8 track tape releases existed in the late 60s and cassettes in the early 70s, the primary format was Vinyl.
The early adopters of electric guitar centric music cherry picked all the good beats, and thus those in the late 60s and early 70s can never be surpassed.
