best way to apply caffeine serum?

everytime i apply it kinda makes my undereyes look sorta greasy, Im thinking about doing it before cleansing so i can wash all the residue off.

Thoughts?

The amount in which it doesn’t feel greasy.

If it doesn’t absorb and the greasy feeling doesn’t go away within 30 minutes you may need to find another caffeine serum.

I use the ordinary one.

I do usually pat dry (with a towel) the serum as i dont usually have enough time for it to fully absorb (could be the cause). As i apply spf after
