Best ways to cut?

So I’ve been getting feedback that my weight is a problem and that I need jaw surgery. I recently found out that jaw surgery isn’t going to happen for a long time so I’m trying to do what I can and I’m working on going caloric deficit for at least a month or two. I’m already a week into it and went from 186 to 177 lbs which must have been water weight loss. My stats right now are 6 foot and 177 and eating 1400-1600 calories a day while lifting and doing body weight exercises at home, gyms are shut down where I’m at. Any advice on what more I can do to lose fat, what I should do when I go back to trying to gain muscle, would be great.

I’m gonna start running everyday. You know anyone here that could help my with macros and calorie counts though? I’m trying to keep muscle and also figure out how to bulk properly after I’m done with the cut

Your calories seem way too low tbh and you will lose weight too fast (meaning significant muscle loss). Aim for 1-2 pounds a week and no more. GL

I’ve been doing fine on keep muscle mass tho. My chest and arms are same size as they started at.
