Do lychees and persimmon fruit have a lot of beta-sitosterol?
 
why would you want beta-sitosterol ?
 
I don't want it, so I want to know if I have to avoid these fruits
 
As far as I know it does reduce t levels or something with 5-alpha reductase

Among some of the foods especially rich in beta-sitosterol are:
  • Canola oil: 96 mg per tablespoon.
  • Avocados: 95 mg per cup.
  • Pistachio nuts (raw): 71 mg per cup.
  • Almonds (raw): 46 mg per cup.
  • Fava beans (fresh): 41 mg per cup.
  • Soybean oil: 39 mg per tablespoon.
  • Hazelnuts: 34 mg per cup.
  • Walnuts: 33 mg per cup.
