I think the biggest problem of the whole looksmaxxing movement is that people focus too much on their problems and too little on what's causing them. Surgery, skincare, peptides etc... are all things that target the problem by "fixing" it directly without adressing what's causing it. But you are just putting a patch on it. What you should be doing is going at the root of it and understand what's causing things to go wrong for you.

I also noticed a kind of adversity towards natural methods, with many people mocking them as being "cope" or "water". It seems to me that many of the people here fall into the logical fallacy of believing that the more side effects and probability of going wrong something has, the better its positive effects are gonna be. But if you think about it, this makes little sense.

Lastly I see many people asking how to fix their physique, side profile, front profile etc... I believe that thinking of it this way is not the right approach. Everything in our body is interconnected and trying to fix one individual part of your body steers you away from a more holistic approach. This is more of a conceptual problem of course, since even if you fixate only one thing, because everything is connected, everything will benefit anyways. I do think though that the way you think about things is also important, and that you should be aware that everything you do for your physique should also benefit your face and viceversa.

I'm not gonna give you a solution to the problems I listed but I think just reflecting on them is good enough to start.

go back to watching jester patel, this idea of everything being connected is called genetics like androgen receptor sensitivity, height, the food your ancestors ate

Ah yes let me pull out my handy dandy genetic modifier machine to fix the root cause

genetics Bro genetics.

You can’t beat genetics, a kid with 6’10 genes would hit 6’5 with ease even with a shit diet.:feelswhy:

I despise jester patel lol. I still thing though that this is like the bell curve meme, jester patel is on the left, yall are in the middle and I'm on the right. I'm joking of course but I think it's useless to link my arguments to him just because his buzzwords conceive concepts similar to the ones I'm describing. You should adress my arguments for what they are

Most flaws and problems people have, at least major ones aren't cause by genetics. Of course if your mom and dad are under 5 foot there ain't much to do, but I think you guys give genetics too much credit

I said in the end that I'm not gonna give you a solution, this is not the goal of the thread. I still listed 3 problems about the community which I think are very much true.

How does this have anything to do with what I said ?

I have an alternative I am just not presenting it to you. For the third time, this post is to make your reflect on things. You have to realize the path you are on is wrong before you can start looking for a new one.

Thank you for attempting to boost your credibility by mentioning some imaginary alternative. Modern looksmaxxing is mostly pseudoscience, but natural looksmaxxing is the most speculative. Steroids and surgery are guaranteed results, even if they aren't done on a Photoshop canvas, but facial exercises or a fad diet haven't been researched at all for aesthetics. The looksmaxxing we have now is the best that is available to us, hopefully in the future, companies will see the rising demand for this type of body enhancements and will bridge the gap between people with good and poor genes.

Pretty arrogant and foolish of you to think you know what my alternative is. For the fourth time you didn't adress any of my arguments.
I would like to point to you that just because something isn't scientifically backed it doesn't mean it's not effective. Every method you mentioned was once not scientifically backed. Your rational mind is much more powerful than any scientific paper, which should be used as a tool rather than a justification for your actions

Also especially for surgery there is nothing that is guaranteed.

Your arguments are pointless to have. Looksmaxxing is not a religion, it is literally a FIX to poor genes, people don't looksmaxx for developing new methods of improving aesthetics, they do it to eventually lifemaxx and escape the fate given to them by their genetics. The fact that you refuse to provide a solution makes this thread pointless to anyone simply trying to live a more successful life through looksmaxxing. Trying a holistic approach to looksmaxxing sounds like absolute speculation, as I have never heard of any techniques(other than those mentioned by jester patel) that do so, as after development, major changes to bone structure are basically impossible or very small.

I do not think that the fact that I'm not providing a solution makes this pointless. Like I said realizing that the path you are on is wrong is already a good start. The criticism I made is true regardless of whether or not I give an alternative.

I made my last thread precisely because of this and I said what I think about this there.

Realising the path you are on is wrong is great, but you reach a dead end when no other path is provided. Also what "path" are you referring to, hardmaxxing?, denying hardmaxxing is complete cognitive dissonance. Also back to you last thread, idk what to say, I can't js try random bs man like invent my own looksmaxxing techniques, that would take hour of research, which as I have previously stated, I would rather wait for other people to discover new methods, as not being the first or only person to know a method isn't bad, as most normies reject any looksmaxxing altogether.

You have to look for it, you do not reach any dead end.

Surgery takes years, not hours, to complete if you account for getting the money, booking, scheduling and recovery. I think you are just lazy.

Again I think this is way people who do that will always be ahead of you
