I think the biggest problem of the whole looksmaxxing movement is that people focus too much on their problems and too little on what's causing them. Surgery, skincare, peptides etc... are all things that target the problem by "fixing" it directly without adressing what's causing it. But you are just putting a patch on it. What you should be doing is going at the root of it and understand what's causing things to go wrong for you.
I also noticed a kind of adversity towards natural methods, with many people mocking them as being "cope" or "water". It seems to me that many of the people here fall into the logical fallacy of believing that the more side effects and probability of going wrong something has, the better its positive effects are gonna be. But if you think about it, this makes little sense.
Lastly I see many people asking how to fix their physique, side profile, front profile etc... I believe that thinking of it this way is not the right approach. Everything in our body is interconnected and trying to fix one individual part of your body steers you away from a more holistic approach. This is more of a conceptual problem of course, since even if you fixate only one thing, because everything is connected, everything will benefit anyways. I do think though that the way you think about things is also important, and that you should be aware that everything you do for your physique should also benefit your face and viceversa.
I'm not gonna give you a solution to the problems I listed but I think just reflecting on them is good enough to start.
