I said I would get bimax and post no matter how good/shit the result was, so here it is.

Tried to keep angle, lighting consistent as I can.

ZomboDroid 13032025043900

Movements were lefort 1 5mm, bsso 10mm (8 or 9 on one side, I had asymmetrical lower jaw movements), and a 4mm genio.

I had a bit of CCW.

SNA: 76 -> 85.5
SNB: 72 -> 83

I'm still omega swollen, the side doesn't do justice for how my chipmunky my cheeks look from the front.

There's a lot of shit I want to talk about and the limits of this surgery.

It would take a ton of time to write a comprehensive guide, so I want to see if there's people that want to read it. If everyone would rather read threads on BBC smv to whores from Birmingham on offtopic, I'm not going to bother.

Noteworthy things:

There were as much vertical changes as horizontal, my lower third height looks more proportional.

In certain lighting, I have hollows as the surgery(esp. the bsso) stretched my skin. It almost looks like I'm cheeksucking when I'm not.

The pain I would describe as a more "bludgeoning" type of pain on the sides of my jaw. There's lots of pressure, which is supposedly muscular, so Advil has helped. It's not the post wisdom tooth removal pain where it's sharp and stingy.

I highly recommend getting your wisdom teeth out on a separate day prior to surgery, because dealing with both would be fucking awful.

Morphs are fucking useless, because soft tissue will not contour perfectly like you'd hope. For an example, my chin doesn't have that nice "s" shape.

Mentally it's fucking rough as you are constantly alternating between it looks good to it looks like shit. I suggest finding something to keep your brain occupied that is not the mirror or your phone camera.

The bimax was more or less what's expected from a bimax, but I can't subdue that shitty voice in the back of my head(that's getting louder and louder) whispering, "You spent 4 years of your life rotting away for this?"

Here's the fucking truth guys: I did not have that epiphany as I'd hoped. There's no rays of light or angel hymns. It's just "oh I guess that's that."

I'm fucking behind on school doing a piece of shit computering science degree, and by the time I'll get my first real job, I'll be in my late 20s. No bimax for missing life goals.

"He still has no degree, no job, lives with his parents, has zero college social experience but his jaws look normal, so he's perfect Becky."

I've already had a 4mm genio.

You want to know what more chin movement would've done? It would essentially made my chin stick out like an awkward chicken bone + destroyed my lower lip.

But feel free to make a morph so I can visualize what you think the changes should be.

not true. a good surgeon wouldn't do this to you + Jaw implants and fillers exist the maxilla should be the first priority

don't go to a Jewish surgeon next time

You seem to be adamantly vocal and disappointed, so explain what should have been done differently?

If you are talking more mandible advancement, then I need to get teeth removed i.e pre-molar extractions. It's a trade off then. I'll have a narrower palette for more jaw movement.

So you want hin to fix the maxilla and get implants when his bite would be miss aligned and If I wear him I'd do a bimax too bc I'd rather have a below average maxilla than a majorly recessed jaw

I hope this makes you happier than it did to me, because all this did was remove the one excuse I had for being stagnant in life.

"It's my jaw, that's why I don't have x,y,z"

Well now it's not my jaw anymore, and I have to face some harsh realities.

A narrow palate is bad because it doesn't allow the maxilla to grow correctly so if you're moving the maxilla forward with surgery why care about a narrow palate? and projecting the maxilla will give more benefits than projecting the mandible so the maxilla should be the first priority the mandible can be adjusted or fixed later with other surgeries, implant or fillers.

I'm telling him this because the surgeon did a horrible job not because I'm making fun of him and yes a projected maxilla would be more important than a slightly misaligned bite

This is like peak .org austimo babble.
