I got bimax surgery + genioplasty 4 days ago at age 17.
I'm scared that my chin will be underadvanced once the bloat is gone. Idon't feel much bloat on my chin and i'm very happy with the sideprofile so i hope the chin won't be retrognathic once the bloat is gone.
What do yall think abt the result 4 days post op, do you think it's a good bimax and which changes can yall see?

Your upper jaw was advanced by maybe 3~mm from starting position, not really noticeable
B point barely moved
The chin was moved down and advanced by 4~mm, just being honest boy don't expect anything big
Even if i acknowledge that my superimposition is not perfect it's only a matter of millimeters

So you think once the swelling is gone ill still be recessed and wont ascend?

Es sieht so aus, als ob der Unterkiefer nicht so krass advanced wurde aber holy chin projection digga, aber weißt du deine exakten movements?

it isn't that bad. he fixed my short face syndrome by pulling down the chin 4mm and it is projected enough. could have been 1mm more sagittal movement but aside from that its good

my chin is projected very well, my mandible is 2 degrees retrognathic tho, genioplasty isnt the problem

Don't listen to armchair surgeons on here. As long as your overjet is 1-2mm you will notice a huge difference

there is no swelling in my chin, i can feel the bone instantly and it's not recessed anymore, i'm so happy

Looks like a great result. Nose got uplifted too from the maxillary advancement
