I am getting bimax + infraorbital rim implants with Ramieri in July.
He said that he is planning on advancing both the maxilla and mandible by ~8mm. I am not sure about any rotation. I don't think I will have the exact details until I have my in person consultation with him a few days before surgery. He includes genio for free with bimax, but he said that he doesn't think it will be necessary in my case.
As for the implants, the plan is for a 4mm lateral increase and a 3mm sagittal increase. This is the link to the first draft of the implants (https://autode.sk/3MSBoZd). I asked him if it was possible to extend the implant along the infraorbital rim, but he says that he does not like to cross the infraorbital nerve with the implant. He offered to do fat grafting instead. I am thinking that I will wait to do that for now so that I can see what the result of the implants looks like first.
My intention is to go back next year and possibly get rhino + jaw implants + undereye fat grafting once I know the results of the bimax and implants.
Any feedback about these procedures would be appreciated. I have attached my lateral ceph that he used to plan the jaw movements. It is pretty old and I have lost a lot of weight since then.
