Bimax is overrated

I see all these before/after results and most afters are taken while someone is a still bit swollen. I also had bimax because I was clinically recessed and when I had the swelling going on I looked really good but as soon as swelling went down I could see that I'm somewhat still recessed (not as much as before tho).

Bimax can make a difference but in my opinion it's quite overrated here. i think additional surgeries like adding implants is necessary in most cases in order to ascend.

That's because most surgeons are bluepilled. They want to get rid of your medical problem, not make you looking better.

The vast, vast majority just want to fix your bite and enlarge your airways. While this can result in aesthetic improvement (very sizeable improvement in those who are extremely recessed) it is not technically a cosmetic surgery unless you go pay out of pocket to an aesthetics focused oral surgeons and make it a cosmetic procedure. This may seem water, but people on this forum hear bimax and instantly think an ascension follows.

My face looked so robust but once the swelling subsided the change seemed to be minimal

Did you get implants or something?
