BIMAX 3 WEEKS POST OP

3 weeks Post OP

I said I would get bimax and post no matter how good/shit the result was, so here it is.

Tried to keep angle, lighting consistent as I can.

View attachment 3639282

Movements were lefort 1 5mm, bsso 10mm (8 or 9 on one side, I had asymmetrical lower jaw movements), and a 4mm genio.

I had a bit of CCW.

SNA: 76 -> 85.5
SNB: 72 -> 83

I'm still omega swollen, the side doesn't do justice for how my chipmunky my cheeks look from the front.

There's a lot of shit I want to talk about and the limits of this surgery.

It would take a ton of time to write a comprehensive guide, so I want to see if there's people that want to read it. If everyone would rather read threads on BBC smv to whores from Birmingham on offtopic, I'm not going to bother.

Noteworthy things:

There were as much vertical changes as horizontal, my lower third height looks more proportional.

In certain lighting, I have hollows as the surgery(esp. the bsso) stretched my skin. It almost looks like I'm cheeksucking when I'm not.

The pain I would describe as a more "bludgeoning" type of pain on the sides of my jaw. There's lots of pressure, which is supposedly muscular, so Advil has helped. It's not the post wisdom tooth removal pain where it's sharp and stingy.

I highly recommend getting your wisdom teeth out on a separate day prior to surgery, because dealing with both would be fucking awful.

Morphs are fucking useless, because soft tissue will not contour perfectly like you'd hope. For an example, my chin doesn't have that nice "s" shape.

Mentally it's fucking rough as you are constantly alternating between it looks good to it looks like shit. I suggest finding something to keep your brain occupied that is not the mirror or your phone camera.

The bimax was more or less what's expected from a bimax, but I can't subdue that shitty voice in the back of my head(that's getting louder and louder) whispering, "You spent 4 years of your life rotting away for this?"

Here's the fucking truth guys: I did not have that epiphany as I'd hoped. There's no rays of light or angel hymns. It's just "oh I guess that's that."

I'm fucking behind on school doing a piece of shit computering science degree, and by the time I'll get my first real job, I'll be in my late 20s. No bimax for missing life goals.

"He still has no degree, no job, lives with his parents, has zero college social experience but his jaws look normal, so he's perfect Becky."

You mean this in good faith bro, I know that, but that type of nose is what I wanted to avoid from bimax.

Did you know that if you get an aggressive lefort, it does indeed upturn your nose like that?

How that will look like from the front is like this

RB-COMP-NOSE-JOB.jpg

I assume you meant to morph this type of nose below yeah?

It's less bulbous looking than mine, but my nose is expected from my ethnicity.

Rhino is a slippery slope for men, because if the surgeon isn't careful, you will get a very feminine looking nose that will ruin your face.

If you do intend to get a rhino for your own face, I highly suggest doing extensive research.

Appreciate the idea nonetheless.

Yeah I should've asked for an 8mm lefort.

This is what an ideal result looks like

A bimax sequel?

Yes, once the technology has improved, I will indeed be in line for a lefort 4 where they take Chris Carmack's skull and screw it to my neck.

shouldve saved up for lefort 2 instead

Looks like you are going to have to do what I couldn't bro.

When you get that lefort 2, please post it.

Make sure you have someone as a backup to post it in case you end up in the morgue.

Did it affect your under eyes at all ? And how high was the cut

Undereyes do look more hollow relative to the rest of my face, but it's lighting dependent.

The high cut lefort nonsense was debunked by Gunson in JawHacks' channel. He essentially said it was all bullshit. The cut will never go high enough to reach the zygoma. If you want more prominent forward(mine are big but lateral) cheekbones, then implants are the answer.

Just because feature x suits someone else, doesn't mean that same feature will suit someone else.

Keep that in mind.

That type of upturned nose will look like shit on me, because my upper lip isn't as concave or pouts like his does, so the nasolabial angle will be obtuse.

Wtf no

Im not very educated in the subject honestly
I already have good forward growth i just wanna take it to the next level

I would try fillers after my 20s and i finished growing (im currently on Roids and peptides so it can help achive my goals) if im not Cl by then then i would consider surgeries

Biggest advice would be to treat it as a compliment to your life, don't hold up your life specifically for it.

Once whatever surgery you wanted is done, you are left with bleak realizations.

The ones who will benefit and appreciate their results the most would be those who have success in other areas.

I was like "oh next would be infras" but fuck infras, next would be getting the rest of my life together.
I was saying this from day 1, all of this shit is nothing but high neurotic mental illness, glad you are awaken bro.

Audibly gasped, side profile genuinely looks insane. But yeah, that's life lol. Focusing on one thing, and achieving it always causes emptiness. Same with no-lifer entrepreneurs who sell their startups and become multi millionaires lol. That's why you shouldn't keep all your eggs in one basket.

If you want to gauge the skill of a surgeon, you can ask them this question: "Are you comfortable doing a counter clockwise rotation with a posterior downgraft?"

If they mention something around the lines of "it's not stable", then you know that surgeon has a limited skill.

I mean mine wasn't a big fan of that either(he did a slight CCW), but some cases will require aggressive uses of that specific movement. I don't know if yours does, but a CCW with a posterior downgraft is what separates the best of the best.

Also the orthodontist matters a lot here. If they can't make a big overjet, the surgeon can't move your jaw, so the prep work lies in the ortho's hands.

Don't let the surgeon gaslight you into thinking you don't need something. They could be correct, but my first surgeon lied to me and said I only needed a 5mm bsso, which would've done nothing. I had double that with the surgeon who operated on me.

Scan through results on r/jawsurgery, see cases that look similar to yours, then read what movements they had to get a ballpark. If the surgeon suggests numbers and movements that are similar, then you are likely heading in the correct path.

I highly suggest for those reading this to NOT follow this "advice."

Lefort 1 and all upper jaw movements should be kept to an absolute minimum. It's why Ramieri doesn't go past 4mm.

You will butcher your face if you get a 10mm lefort. You will look like this

View attachment 3639550

This especially applies for people with a less forward nasal bridge and upturned nose

View attachment 3639552

If you look like this I would avoid lefort altogether.

It will ruin your face, listen to me on this.
then what do to if my side look like in pic 2 bsso?
