Black hair style questions(gtfih)

I understand that various facial ratios and aesthetic guidelines can influence which hairstyle is most flattering for an individual. I’m trying to determine the best style for myself, particularly since I have 4C hair.

I know that locs often complement 4C textures, but some women in my life advise me against them. At the same time, their opinions don’t completely align with what I observe many women are actually attracted to. Because of this, I’m considering several options: waves, locs, braids, a short afro, a buzz cut (which I currently have), or a high-top style(JFL).

I’ve also included two photos of myself from when I had freeforms not fully developed locs, but they offer a general idea of how I look with longer hair.

I’d appreciate guidance on which style might be most suitable.

I kinda agree hair isn’t gonna magically fix my subhuman face but hair can definitely benefit you, as to the YouTube part black hair YouTube is so unbelievably chopped bro mfs use strawberry mint growth oil for norwooding and think shea butter will change your hair texture

longer hair is always law u should try freeforms again but shorter and a short afro

Personally i think stuff like this is a good bet for shorter hair, nice simple and clean. for longer i wouldnt do anything other then dreads and stuff, they look much cleaner then like the freeforms and stuff where its just kinda all over the place. Not that i can say much since i have pretty loose curls. Facial hair is almost as big for black guys as the hair on top from what I see tbh, so grab something that matches the hair style just dont go too long. also make sure your leanning out aswell hair cant carry 30% bf.
