Curls look better and aren't as damaging. I sort of hate braids though, they can cause traction alopecia.

They usally gottta perm their hair for curls like you think of them. But constant braids are really unhealthy for their hair.

Afro like hairstyles sure as hell beat weaves and braids and i would gladly see them return again but telling this to a black woman is like speaking to a wall
