isn't hopeless, it's accepting how things work instead of wishing they work differently and attempting to cope within an imaginary framework.

greatly improved my mental health, appearance, amount of dating app matches and happiness when I got to the root causes of things and started being much harsher towards myself (seeing myself how other people see me, instead of having false optimism and confidence).

Has a lot of actors who try to instill false hope and optimism into people who are hopeless without harsh interventions like surgeries or transplants. Some also sell snake oil products to these desperate people in order to profit from them.

Redpill is good in the sense that it gets people who don't get results on the right path to self improvement, but it isn't harsh enough on the readers (so they don't become hopeless and skip buying your snake oil books about 'holding frame' and 'being confident')

Is the worst of the three, focusing entirely on character, personality and 'confidence'. "You are fine just the way you are!" "Just wait and good things will come to you!" This one creates the most depression and hopelessness out of all of them. You follow your mothers, society's and other womens advice to a T and act confident. But women hate it when an ugly guy acts confident. You get no matches. You wonder what's wrong?

Worst case, some of these guys start hating themselves due to this narrative that it's "all about your personality" and may even turn transgender just to get some affection. Even though they've always identified as male. They just don't understand the reason they get no matches from women or any sex is not because there is something wrong with their personality. Their face and body simply don't appeal to women.

It's not really your choice what pill you take. it chooses you based on your current level.

If you are subhuman you will be hit with countless blackpills in life where you will have no opportunity but to go down this route. (fyi the blackpill isn't about hopelessness thats just doomers infecting the sphere, its very progressive.)

If you are normie, you will have some level untapped potential that you can work to achieve. so the redpill will work for you.

If you are Chadlite + you can take the bluepill anything you do will yield results, team sports is enough to build a good physique, experiencing teen love ect.

All pills have their merits and drawbacks, none of them are wrong.

How do I use both pills to my advantage?

Look at things as though it's a mixture of red and blackpill.

If you are a 5/10 at least lean then some redpill except PUA nonsense is worth a try. If 4/10 or below lean then redpill won't apply in the West for the most part.
