• (a) safe but not aesthetics-focused (e.g. primarily interested in dental occlusion)
• (b) aesthetics-focused but shady and unsafe

Lots of stories have been posted here by users who got “blackpilled procedures” from slimy-ass shady-ass bum-ass surgeons and got botched. But they had to get the work done by these surgeons because the safe and reputable ones wouldn’t operate on them in the way they wanted.

I heard good things about gunson, alfi, and lacoms, but italy sounds like the way to go from my research if you dont want to sell your kidneys for your budget (Im in usa too)

Saying that, you can definitely go too far with surgery. I always feel it’s best to consult with multiple surgeons: some who you assume to be ‘black pilled’ and some who you consider to be more conservative. Then the picture becomes more clear.

To actually answer your question, I would feel safe with Ramieri and Pagnoni. Both are more aesthetically inclined than your average surgeon.

OP, this is the list you need as far as bimax. I went to Gunson. Just asked for “maximum forward movement without messing up function or looking like a canine” and he delivered.

Pretty bad, almost a nightmare. My advice is stay away from surgery first approach and get multiple opinions from other surgeons. Not just the surgeons peddled here.

Tbh — being botched in surgery is actually my worse fear. I will NEVER do surgery before finding the perfect surgeon.

8.5mm maxilla, 16mm mandible, no genio chin was strong and actually 4-5mm strong on the virtual planning but kept it as is, CCW rotation, cheekbone grafts with HA paste.

They are all shameless promotors who talk like they can do anything. Then inevitably they give lacklustre results or worse after. Then they deflect. Repeat

Doctors names get mentioned here as “next big thing”, “the very best” (with a sense that idiots go to other doctors). Then inevitably the botched and the lacklustre results get shown and the mob moves tp the next big dr. Repeat

Just think for a second. Out of all the surgeons out there. There’s only a few that this forum knows about that can transform lives. Which we have never seen. And then when botched or letdowns happen it’s the patients fault and move on. It’s all so ridiculous
