One example that I've heard from different women is when they go abroad for a long holiday/internship/semester abroad.

Is there any proof for this oxytocin claims? Because a lot of research says that oxytocin in sex is only released in high doses when there is a climax, and as men are more likely to climax (orgasm gap) it would make sense that women get less attached to their partners than men do.
