Ye are the salt of the earth
They are the ones who give the world flavor. They break the mold in everything they go into. Look at who the top atheletes and entertainers are. Michael Jordan, Mike Tyson, The Rock, etc. Jakes are the biggest trendsetters out there.
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Thats right, the world is dark and we are the world's hope. Not only are we the most trendy, we are also the most holy.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
Thats right, no one else can do what we do.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
It's us, the true Israelites who will lead the rest of the world in the path of righteousness. That is what God sent us here to do.
