Blunting androgen sensitive muscle growth with high dose dutasteride?

I’m looking for input from people who understand the pharmacology here or have firsthand experience.

Let’s say someone is running 500 mg/week of testosterone enanthate while also taking 2.5 mg/day of dutasteride. My understanding is that dutasteride drastically reduces DHT, and tissues like the shoulders, traps, and neck are considered to be highly androgen-sensitive.

My question is: Would taking 2.5 mg of dutasteride meaningfully reduce muscle growth in those areas compared with running testosterone alone or with a much lower dose of dutasteride? In other words, does suppressing DHT to that extent blunt the anabolic response in highly androgen sensitive muscles, even if testosterone levels are very high?

One thing to mention is that switching to a topical anti-androgen isn’t really an option for me. I haven’t been able to source products like RU-58841, KX-826, or GT20029 (ofc), so my realistic choices are basically oral dutasteride or nothing.

I’m interested in the mechanism as well as any studies or anecdotal experiences. Has anyone noticed reduced shoulder development on high-dose dutasteride while using testosterone, or does the elevated testosterone generally compensate?
