Bone age scan in the UK

How tf do you get a bone age scan through the nhs? They told me some bullshit saying they can’t do it because of something retarded but my friend got a xray after asking once? Should I just larp and claim to be depressed or maybe act like my wrist is broken? I’m 5’6 at fucking 17 years old with a 6ft dad and 5’6 mom
