"The results of this study suggest that the mechanical stress generated during rock climbing is sufficient to stimulate the bone deposition response.

The relationship between measures of bone thickness and sport climbing and bouldering, and not traditional climbing or years of climbing, indicate that bone remodels to accommodate high-intensity mechanical stress and not to frequent low-intensity stresses, even if maintained over long periods of time.

The results also suggest that it is possible for adults to deposit new bone subperiosteally, even if they have already reached skeletal maturity. The results do not support the findings from other studies that climbers have a higher incidence or earlier onset of OA. "

climbers tend to have greater bone mass in these areas than non-climbers, due to their bone
“[remodeling] to accommodate high-intensity mechanical stress.” (According to one of the researchers, Dr. Adam Sylvester, a climber of 14 years,
there is no link between greater bone mass and OA, and added bone will “almost certainly” go away if you stop climbing.)
And second, the greatest predictor of bone strength is the intensity (read: type), but not frequency, of the climbing itself.

Mewing and nose breathing are not the same thing.

Mewing for great benefits to me is mewing hard enough where 90% of your submental is pulled in, in the most ideal posture ever, 24/7.

My face is the only evidence I have. Literally girls comment on my jaw and how “toned” I look, some even asking me if I “mixed” because of it lo fucking l. Call it placebo or delusion but I have proof for myself, too bad I don’t trust anyone here you’ll just have to take it by my word or simply ignore

If you’re under 18 you can call cope all you want and keep complaining about your shit lower third. Or take my advice, religiously mew by following my description and megadose on mk4, d3, magnesium and calcium

Ignore if you want. TheMewingBBC out

Strange, you should hit as hard as possible to get swelling, and then recover. I don't have before pictures, but this is most recent one

See the middle finger on left hand? That's how you do it, it will take me 4 months to recover until i can punch hard again, and build that mass

Your knuckles can probably punch as strong as a fist with brass knuckles.

Sutures holding up your neuro and splancho cranial bones are not malleable or elastic (to a significant degree). It's fibrous connective tissue that has a breaking point if you apply enough stress. If you pull your maxilla hard enough you'll literally fucking dislodge it out of place. The fact that people here think it will re-position perfectly somehow in accordance to beauty standards is retarded. Not only are you hurting yourself, you may deform yourself (more than you're already deformed).

Your bones have biomechanical harmony. All of your bones are structured in a particular position, if you were somehow to go as far as moving your maxilla then that wont necessarily move any other bones, you'll more likely than not rip it out of place or dislocate it

Jaw recession is a muscular and soft tissue adaptation, which is why mewing can prevent recession but not correct it
