Does bad nutrition/drugs decrease bones density?

Can I do anything to reclaim it? Is it possible to get it back or even improve it? I'm talking about facial bones.

Ive no idea of this honestly since i’m still new to this subject. better ask someone else.

Yes bad nutrition will. Vitamin D deficiency is common in low income people with bad diet. Vitamin d is needed for the absorption of calcium.

Testosterone and HGH will increase bone density

Yes, combining it is essential.

A key role of vitamin D is to absorb the calcium from your diet into your blood stream. However, if this calcium remains in your blood stream for too long it can calcify your arteries and certain organs, commonly leading to problems related to the heart (these problems mainly occur if you take too high of a dose of vitamin D, but they are still possible on normal doses).

So, what's the solution? Vitamin K2. One of the roles of vitamin K2 is to take the calcium from your blood stream and deposit it into your bones, strengthening them.

Yes I've to fix vita D deficiency while taking K2 too.

Might start with 5000.iu daily with 100mg K2 and check vita D after couple of months

No problem!

I've only recently starting taking my supplements. I've started on 5000IU with 500mcg of K2, but will increase to 10,000IU/1000mcg and later 20,000IU/2000mcg. You may think that it's very high but there is actually many misconceptions about vitamin D. I can elaborate if you'd like.

A good D:K ratio is 10:1.

Well, for many years doctors and medical professionals have been recommending vitamin D3 but only up to levels such as 2000IU or 4000IU. This is because they are taught that levels over such numbers will cause vitamin D toxicity and they are given studies to learn from about this topic, commonly in their first year of med school.

The problem is, these studies are quite old and were not carried out properly.

Many of them were carried out decades ago. They gave people high doses of vitamin D3 but forgot to give them the K2 needed to transfer the calcium into the bones. As a result, there was a small increase in heart attacks in those given these high doses.

Taking sufficient amounts of K should prevent these problems.




One of our own users tested this out. He took 50,000IU of D3 and 5000mcg of K2. He experienced no problems and his testosterone actually doubled. He did take other supplements but he stated that the D3 was probably one of the main reasons it doubled.

In the book "the miraculous results of extremely high doses of vitamin D3", the author carries out a personal experiment where he takes extremely high doses of D3 (100,000 at one point!) with K2, and he only really had positive things to say. He felt much better, and many long term injuries that he had such as a clicking hip or a weakened shoulder healed almost completely.

Your levels are really low, and I suspect mine are around about the same. I'd recommend increasing your dose to 10000/1000 daily for a handful of weeks and then see where your levels are at. That's what I'm going to be taking from now on as well, and maybe increasing to 20,000 depending on the results.

But with high doses I'm afraid it might negatively affect my Tinnitus :/

Also honestly I'm worried about supplementing K2 cuz it's Potassium and when I used (Minoxdil) for my beard which appears to be a Potassium channel openner it caused the Tinnitus.

Ah your tinnitus poses a bit of a problem. I don't know if high doses would affect it, it shouldn't, but of course there is a risk that it could. I guess it's up to you to decide if it's worth it or not.

I have tinnitus in my left ear but it's very mild, I don't notice it unless it's brought to my attention. If it gets any worse I'll post it here.

Btw vitamin K2 isn't potassium. Though they're similar in some ways, they still are two different nutrients with two different effects.

Vit D needs to be combined with K2 for maximum effectiveness. I do it every day. I take twice to three times the recommended dosis (that some gay soyboys randomly came up with)

Bone density is also dependent on strength training. Not just nutrition
