because mewing is a disguised name for oral posture , a medical process to improve overall body posture, something that has always been taught in medicine. The bones won't change

And why don't bones change? If I put my tongue against my upper teeth, wouldn't that make my smile wider by pushing the upper teeth outward? If you put your tongue on the top of your mouth, then you can cause an outward force to the teeth.
