List of books to become knowledgeable on the craniofacial structure and surgery
-Anatomy for Plastic Surgery of the Head Face and Neck
- Surgical approaches to the Craniofacial skeleton
- Craniofacial Growth
- A Man From Héric: The Life and Work of Paul Tessier, Father of Craniofacial Surgery
- Everything written by Tessier Himself
- Everything written by Fernando Ortiz-Monasterio
- Various articles by Kufner, Obwegeser, Yaremchuk, Sinn, Schmitz
- Atlas of Maxillofacial Surgery
- Operative Techniques in Plastic Surgery (Craniofacial Surgery and Facial Aesthetic Surgery sections) ((Operative techniques in Craniofacial Surgery is basically that volume of the series in stand-alone form but without facial aesthetic surgery.)) This has been what I have been reading in a lot as it was released in late 2019 and even has chapters authored by Eppley.
- Mathes Plastic Surgery Facial and Pediatric volumes (pediatric contains a lot of Craniofacial since Craniofacial Surgery is essentially a pediatric sub specialty of plastic surgery)
- Facial Aesthetics by Naini taking certain classic theories with a grain of salt
- Craniomaxillofacial Reconstructive and Corrective Bone Surgery
- Browse journal of Craniomaxillofacial Surgery
- Browse PRS (global open is okay but not the main PRS) Most issues have at least one facial or Craniofacial entry
- Atlas of Facial Implants (Yaremchuk) the second edition was just released last year
- And while not a peer reviewed source I must give appreciation for Dr Eppleys Blog. He is kind enough to share obscure information about obscure procedures and make public knowledge for free in great detail.
- Eyelid and Periorbital Surgery
- Oculoplastic and Orbital Surgery
- Any Facial Plastic Surgery books written before 2000. A 1989 Facial Plastic Surgery text will emphasize surgery at the Bone-Level while the 2010 Facial Plastic Surgery text is complete trash. One top example is Aesthetic Surgery of The Craniofacial Skeleton (Lim, with contributions from a young Eppley.)
- Posnicks Orthognathic Surgery

Read all of these for free online: https://z-lib.org/
definitely worth a read if you're a looksmaxxer and want to understand/write high IQ threads.
