Invisalign vs. braces?

I have an ortho consultation scheduled and was recommended invisalign by my dentist, but I'm wondering if there's a difference between that and braces. I've also seen advice to specifically get damon braces, but I'm not aware of the benefits surrounding those. Will either one help my projection, or is it a possibility they'll ruin my face? (I've seen cases like that before). Any advice appreciated

Nah, it’s pretty much the same. I would choose Invisalign because the orthodontist can show you the final result in a program, so you can see if they are going to bring your teeth backward or forward, etc. Plus, it’s more comfortable and requires fewer visits. But you said a dentist? I would highly recommend going to an orthodontist. I know it may be more expensive, but a dentist usually dont adjust the treatment plan given by Invisalign, which is a major issue.

I meant when I went to the dentist they recommended I go to an orthodontist for my x-rays and invisalign. I'll ask them about the final results, thanks
