i've been reading about people talking about braces causing recession multiple times and im sort of confused on the topic. I had an overbite and I got braces when i was like 13-14, and got my braces removed at 15 about to be 16. I'm not sure how my braces progress has been because i quite literally have no pictures of it and im just curious about the whole thing. thank you

They are made by the Jews so i wouldn’t be impressed

figured. thank you
Just don’t mouth breathe, considering that your talking about a recessed jaw make sure still chew hard foods even though you have braces on. It’s not the braces itself that makes people recessed it’s how peoples habits drastically change once they do get braces

yeah i've been out of my braces treatment for a minute now and unfortunately my maxilla and lower jaw are both slightly recessed so i think bimax is the way to go for me

i do not, but i'm not entirely sure if i sleep with my mouth open. ive slept with people around me and ive never been told i sleep with my mouth open but i could be doing it time to time
As for your foods how has your diet changed when you got braces since you don’t chew hard foods as much your not using your masseter muscles as much your jaw would become recessed

i dont chew hard foods very often as of lately tbh. and i dont know which hard foods could be the most benefitial, or if they'll even work for jaw development as i am in mid-late puberty

braces that pull your upper or lower teeth back cause recession. Should be understood by everyone that has over 90iq.

Don't try to reason with this mewing faggots and Ortho Jews. They think their 3 cm recessed maxilla came from a peace of metal they had on for 1 year

They tilt your teeth in and will not cause recessions. If someone had protrusion of the teeth they already were recessed. Removing teeth may cause some and having braces during extreme growth spurt can be a bit harmful. Else nah

biting with back tilted teeth recess you since the pressure from biting pushes your maxilla back in a unnatural way

They should never tilt teeth, just make them straighter which is optimal for maxilla. But yes orthos will almost always to tilting and make your teeth bad some way. I had braces for 5 years and they made me have a cross bite still because the made the teeth straight but my lower and upper arch matched which is not how it suppose to be, the upper arch shoulbäd be slightly more wide ä, else you will create a crossibite. Not good, I hate orthos more than anything
