Braces, will it change my face?

Hello, I am 16 years old, I am going to have braces in a couple of months and I wanted to know what changes this will have on my face, I have no dental malocclusions, all my results were class 1, except the convexity of my face, according to that I have a malocclusion type 2 osea although it is due to the size of my chin so it is not necessary to give much importance. Regarding the braces, what changes will there be in my face? More prominent zygos? Wider smile? Wider jaw?

Braces will restrict your jaw growth, wait a few more years until you’re 18-20 to get them.

In the mean time make sure you exercise and eat well, and get enough protein and nutrients(Vitamin D, Calcium, Magnesium, Vitamin K2) all very important for bone growth.

Chew hard food as well to stimulate growth in your jaws, but don’t do it in excess or you’ll do more harm than good.

Por lo que tengo entendido desde 2019 por los videos Orthotropics es lo siguiente.
Si usas frenillos los huesos de tus rostros como el maxilar (conectado con los pomulos) y la mandibula se veran afectados negativamente, un retroceso (cara mas plana /o menton empotrado), debido a la fuerza que aplica los frenillos hacia atras. Busca en reddit o en el grupo de facebook donde esta John Mew "Craniofacial Action Group", los antes y despues de usar frenillos y te daras cuenta de como sus dientes quedaron rectos, ¿pero a cambio de que? sus rostros quedaron mas planos y alargados, aunque, esto puede ser debido a que sus premolares hayan sido extraidos.
Nunca dejes que extraigan tus dientes, ninguno. Al menos que sean las muelas del juicio pero SOLO si es necesario y no hay opcion de salvarlos, ya que, la extraccion de dientes como los premolares, son los que mas afecta en el rostro negativamente y no desarrollas tu potencial.

Igual no te asuste tanto con el tema de los frenillos, mientras tengas la lengua en el paladar, mastiques alimentos duros y duermas con los labios cerrados, el impacto debiese ser mucho menor. Cuando llegue el dia que te saquen los frenillos los huesos de tu rostro pueden moverse hacia adelante y arriba (revirtiendo el recesing que causo lo frenillos), siempre cuando apliques lo que te habia escrito anteriormente.

Hola tengo 16 años me voy a poner brackets en un par de meses y quería saber que cambios traerá esto en mi cara, no tengo maloclusiones dentales, todos mis resultados fueron clase 1, excepto la convexidad de mi cara, según eso tengo una maloclusión tipo 2 osea aunque se debe al tamaño de mi barbilla por lo que no hay que darle mucha importancia. Respecto a los brackets, ¿qué cambios habrá en mi cara? ¿Zigos más prominentes? ¿Sonrisa más amplia? ¿Mandíbula más ancha?

Depende del doctor tambien, no te hagas extracciones, cuando tenia brackets mi rostro se veia mas delgado y menton mas prominente h mejillas mas delgadas, ese fue mi caso, no se como sea contigo
