planning to get braces, ortho wont be doing any extractions, which is better?

damon braces or traditional with bands

Damon is more comfortable and takes less treatment time but are generally more expensive, if you have crowding though I would bring up getting an expander with your Ortho.

Go with Damon if you want something more low-maintenance.
They’re self-ligating, so less friction, faster movement, and fewer ortho visits plus they don’t stain like those disgusting rubber bands.
Traditional brackets with bands can still work fine, but they’re outdated tech unless your ortho’s a wizard.
Also ask for a palate-expander while you're at it (just say that your tounge doesnt fit on the roof of your mouth)

If you found this helpful in any way you can mark this as a solution to your question by clicking the checkmark on the right.

not a big difference but i suggest going for damon if you're getting an expander. damon braces is already gonna help your dental arch
