I have a cross bite on one side of my jaw which moves my lower teeth and shifts everything. They’re not taking teeth out but having rubber bands would this recess anything

braces could fix it but a pallate expander would be better
As for rubber bands ive seen someone say type 2 malloclusion bands recesses you and type 3 mog

So basically my problem is only a couple of teeth on one side so I asked for an expander and they said it was was not necessary. They would be doing braces with rubber bands. Im not risking recession

ask if its class 3 bands or class 2

Ok thanks, if you know anything else let me know to ask. Ik ur not an orthodontist but I only care about my aesthetic and they want things as cheap as possible. But lmk
