I'm 16 and gonna be on nhs braces soon. What I need to know is that is that if I get 1 one of my premolars extracted, will it alter my face shape? Btw its only 1 tooth thats stuck behind, I feel like it causes my naso folds and makes them look worse since its very different on the other side

premolar extraction will likely fuck up your face, due to palate contraction
dont extract it unless its absolutely necessary, also try and avoid braces and get invisalign

Only braces are free on nhs so im fucked

braces can pull back and recess your maxilla (even without extraction), but this rarely happens. youre more prone to it because youre still 16. this is why i suggested invisalign
you can get invisalign with/without extraction. is the extraction absolutely necessary? does it cause pain or is it infected? never get premolar extraction unless absolutely necessary.
