On 2024/08/27, a work accident caused measurable damage to my brain.

Since then, imaging shows minimal activation in my amygdala — the structure responsible for fear, threat detection, and emotional salience.
In practical terms, the world no longer signals danger or meaning the way it once did. Events still register, but their emotional weight is reduced.
Alongside this, my behavior has shifted toward traits often described as Machiavellian: more strategic, more detached, more governed by calculation than impulse.
This is not a philosophy I adopted.
It is a neurological state I inhabit.
If I seem colder, quieter, or unmoved by things that once mattered, it is not indifference.
It is the absence of the circuitry that once made feeling automatic.
People on this app love to use the
“Dark triad” like it’s something “cool”
But I’m a kid who may never feel again.
I’m on the verge of breaking up with my girlfriend who saved my life, just so she can go be with someone who’s atleast human
