Being average height is misunderstood, the average is a combination of the tallest mfs and the shortest, the majority of people lie in those two groups, Ive seen analytics and real numbers before on this topic but I dont remember them at all. so you'll always be taller than some people and shorter than some people

what I can tell you for a fact is, if you have a 18 inch bidet and more as a 5'8 person, you 100% wont be perceived as short at all

Just accept your height, there is nothing you can do about it, try to fix everything else (face, physique, charisma). I always tell people that sadly the minimum height requirement to live a decent life (from your perspective and from others) is 5'6 and above, anything below it is really sad to see, you thankfully avoided this problem
