i know my field pretty well so i will focus on that.
we aren't talking about average. average pay after a finance bachelors degree is also something around 45-50k.
if you do your internships and go to a good university you can get into asset-/wealth-/fonds-management, Management Consulting or Investmentbanking. all pay 100k+. and you don't even need a masters degree to get into them

i'm not sure though how stable those positions are since a lot of the required work is getting automised by programs as we are talking

na. those are realistically achievable if you put in the work. you don't even have to get straight A's.
do the right internships, have good (doesn't have to be excellent) grades and go to a good uni.
the exceptions are the bums who get hired by their dad's connections directly into a Private Equity firm that pays 250k+
