I'm 152lbs 5'11, probably closer to 20% bf than 15%. I want to cut because I hate my submental fat more than anything else, but 1) I'm not 100% sure it will go away lowering bf, and 2) I'm probably gonna have to bulk after cutting anyways. So what to do? Will I be to skinny after cutting at this weigh?

Be at a slight caloric deficit, eat high amounts of protein, weight train hard.
Youll recomp (lose fat AND Gain miscle at the same time)
Whatever you do, dont do a hard bulk. Youll become a fat cunt before you know it.

Cut
You won't gain muscle at a caloric deficit
just get to 10% and then think about gymcelling and getting fat again

this what I did. if you bulk you're just going to add more fat to your hips or where your nasty skinny fat body is storing fat. your hormones are out of whack too, you're not gonna build muscle properly on a bulk, you have to recomp. but you will still gain some on a slight cut cuz of noob gains

If you are a newbie lifter bulk on good healthy caloric dense food (ie steak milk eggs) then when you feel like you are gaining too much fat and not as much muscle slow the calories down a little bit

noob gains happen, but you need to be doing the right thing which is bulking
I'd say fat is when you don't show your abs/flat stomach

When you say “don’t show your abs” do you mean that your abs should show even if you never worked them out before?

cut. the answer is always cut. no one cares if you bench 405 if you are fat. women dont need u to be any bigger than brad pitt in fight club.

I just heard the first fitness youtuber (Joe Delaney) say cutting is best when skinny fat in a video of that matter. Up to now all I heard was to always bulk. Thanks to that and the answers on this thread I'm definietly cutting now.

CUTTTT leanmaxxing is the best looksmaxx buddyboyo easier now than bulking because of corona

Skinnyfat should always always always cut first. Down to 10% bf is ideal but somewhere in the 12-15% range is fine.
