Can a spf 50 sunscreen be washed off with a standard cleanser or must u use a oil based cleanser

Sorry for being abit retarded but i searched and im planning to use a spf 50 with zinc oxide and apparently my vitamin c cleanser cant properly wash it off according to google, must i use a oil based cleanser
