Can getting a baby tooth extracted before braces cause recession?

I got braces about 2 years ago and I had like a baby tooth that didn't fall out and was pushing on another tooth fucking up my teeth and I'm just concerned if this extraction could've fucked up my appearance at all because I currently have a mildly recessed chin and one of my friends pointed out my chin was literally at my lips and that it used to not be like that I'm just wondering if there's anything I can ask my orthodontist to fix this I get my braces taken off in a month. Friends only started pointing this out recently even a few months ago they where saying my side profile was good but I've also started to realize like that my chin looks way more recessed than it did a few months ago.

they gave me like rubber bands to put on one side of my mouth for teeth alignment or something like that but idk about bands to pull my jaw forward

They’re used to correct ur bite so they pulled my bottom jaw forward a bit

Talk to ur orthodontist though, I got 3 teeth taken out and my face hasn’t really changed
