can i take demelan cream with tazarotene + azelaic acid

running taz + aze (taz mogs tret)
heard sources basically say that demelan's glycolic acid dissolves the top skin layer while tazarotene forces rapid cell turnover, and mixing them strips your skin barrier causing severe, raw, bleeding skin patches

however i made a post saying that id be running alpha arbutin (which is contained in demelan, along with glycolic acid and kojic acid dipalmitate) in a stack thats based off tazarotene + azelaic acid + (periodically) hydroquinone

is this all gonna nuke my skin? should i just stick to taz + aze and spf/moisturizer/cleanser for now?

yes but high irritation potential and it can mess up ur skin barrier too

try cleanser azelaic moisturizerthan spf 50 in the morning, in the evening go for cleanser again and just moisturizer boyo

i wouldn't say it is guaranteed to nuke your skin taz + aze is already a pretty potent combo and adding glycolic from demelan increases the chance of irritation for a lot of people i'd see how your skin handles taz + aze first before deciding whether demelan is even worth adding

yes, great, but missing the retinoid which is why im taking taz. what should be the bread and butter of every skincare protocol
