Can I tan on Accutane with the right precautions?

I’m on 20mg of Accutane for 3 days now. I’ve also been on mt2 for awhile doing 500mcg every day. I want to stay tan as I look a lot better with one but with this drug it’s going to make me a hermit. Is there a certain time at this dose where I can still safely tan (like after 2 weeks I’ll start getting the sun damage effects) and what can I use to still go outside while on it? I’m already tan but I still want a bit more color and I want to be able to maintain it while I’m on this as well.

i would say either microdose accutane instead or just start maintaining ur tan with like 250mcg once or twice a week

What did u end up doing? Im on 10mg/day and want to start tanning with mt2 tomorrow. Im planning on starting low with 100mcg and short sessions (European uv). The picture i got from the research i did is basically you shouldn’t tan at all on accutane but you should be fine on a low dose.

How long have you been running Accutane? Start with 100mcg mt2 and if you don’t feel any major side effects (nausea, flushing) bump it up another 100 until you reach 500 (if you do have sides wait 3 days then do same dose, repeat until no sides). Then do 500 every day until desired tan. I’d wait about 1-2 weeks before starting tanning on mt2 because it usually takes time to work. Honestly I think 10mg is barely even enough to get the uv sides so test 10 minutes tanning first and if nothing happens increase 10 minutes and so on until you either tan or burn.
