Can i turn straight asian hair to at least a bit wavy?(without perm)

Im not even asian but I have the most subhuman hairtype, Is there anyway to change It? I've tried Sea salt spray, diffuser, matte clay,curls rock basically everything but It remains straight Nothing changes

Try layers and having longer hair
