Can lifting during puberty increase your bone mass?

Title. I've heard that if you lift weights in puberty it will grow bones in the face, even skull.

True?

i screwed myself over by being anorexic and never eating/lifting until i was 19

I think nutrition plays a bigger role in that. I think lifting and strenuous sports will influence your overall frame though. you really cant ever find a swimmer (whos been swimming since he was like 14) without broad shoulders
