Never seen this asked before so I've opened this thread. Let's say you have zygos shaped like Johnny Depp or Jon Kortajarena: But you would like to have them be more "straight" shaped (higher set?), like this morphs: Those differences are also found on women too, let's look at Phoebe...
From what I observed, most of the time low set cheekbones are correlated to width. Cheekbone reduction not just rotates them inwards (makes them narrower) but also upwards (makes them higher set). If you look at the 6th slide, you'll see an animation of his CT scan before and after, which clearly shows his zygos getting higher set after reduction:

It only works for people with cheekbones too wide and too low set. Cheekbones get narrower and higher, so of course the skull get's narrower too. It only works for those who would benefit from it. See, if the guy above wasn't a bluepilled asian, didn't shave his jaw and wasn't bloated, he could have had custom infraorbital-malar implants after the reduction and get a similar skull/face shape to this:
Implants only would make him have a Bogdanoff-like face due to his too wide, low cheekbones. The reduction is actually quite good for him and people with similar cheekbones. The issue is the retarded jaw shaving, the bloating and the lack of custom implants after, not the cheekbone reduction itself.
